Food Network - Obnoxious Sunny Anderson

ALEX GUARANESCHELLI IS SO WEIRD...SHE "HELICOPTERS".....HER SPICES..WHICH WASTES THE SPICES....INSTEAD OF BLANCHING ORANGE RINDS FOR THREE MINUTES..SHE TAKES THEM OUT THREE TIMES..HOW STUPID AND RIDICULOUS HER COOKING METHODS ARE..NO WONDER HER FIANCE LEFT HER..HOPE SHE GAVE THE RING BACK..

I cannot stand it when she is on the Kitchen or Bobby Flay. There is no call for her to be screaming and talking over others all the time. She is most unprofessional and I will not watch any FN shows any longer if she is on there.

I totally agree! Every time so shows up on Bobby Flay or any other cooking show, she loud screaming and obnoxious .

While I have read many of the comments posted here, I, too, am annoyed by Ms. Anderson's behavior.

I don't know her personally. I am sure she is a wonderful person and a talented chef. However, as an African American woman, I often find her behavior offensive, loud, obnoxious and rude. She also comes off as being greedy when it comes to tasting the food.

I'm not trying to be a hater, but I wish she would tone it down a bit, and stop all of the yelling and screaming. It's not necessary to be heard all the time. Every show she is on, she conducts herself in a manner which I don't understand. I wish I could see who the real Ms.

Anderson is, as opposed to this loud, obnoxious and aggressive woman I see whenever she is on TV. Her talents get lost in the translation.

What a Great Saturday so far with my Coffee and The Kitchen!!!! Rerun but Sunny was outside ….

Only had to see her a couple times. I just muted her voice abs looked away when she was feeding her Face.

Now, Alex tells us she is off for this segment!!! What a Glorious Saturday!

I agree with many of the comments I've read here. When Sunny first started appearing on FN, she was not this loud nor obnoxious.

I think (?) maybe someone gave her some very bad advice on establishing "her brand" and she tried to fill the role of a screeching female comedian? It's the only explanation I can come up with for such a drastic downturn. I stopped watching the Kitchen years ago because I can't take the constant screaming. Now she's hosting the Easter challenges and I refuse to give up watching those.

FN, please listen. You don't have to fire Sunny, but please mentor her and offer some guidance. I think she is probably a very nice person, that genuinely wants to be liked. She's just way too abrasive and over the top, and she's better than that.

Some of us work in professions all week where we deal with yelling non-stop, and the FN is our chance to destress and get inspired--maybe even learn something or find a great new recipe. Dealing with all the screeching and cackling during my downtime is just too much.

What a great show Saturday 4/2/22! No loud mouth Sunny Anderson, hopefully the sign of things to come?

Get her off the show, put another person that’s nice and fun but not loud at all on the program. It will never happen though she’s got something over on someone. I wouldn’t have that troll on my show omg embarrassing to say the least ugggggg.

So, in reference to Sunny Anderson, it was gratifying to discover that so many other viewers agree with my assessment. She is obnoxious.

I had thought my viewpoint might be too harsh until I found it mirrored by so many on social media. Some of her defenders suggested that a distaste for her antics was based on racial stereotype. But if Alex or Katie or a guest launched into a loud, distasteful, jarring manic episode, without warning, every few minutes, their ethnicities would not be a consideration. They would simply be called out for being rude.

Crying "prejudice" is the lowest cop-out. My concern is that the woman might actually be ill, that she is suffering from a condition which could be alleviated with therapy and medication. But even if this is the case, the producers and director of her show need to own their responsibility and attempt to mitigate her outbursts.

Sunny is an attractive, vivacious, fun woman and can even seem intelligent for a brief time between explosions. Changing her persona would show great maturity and might result in her receiving--rather than demanding--the respect and affection I believe she deserves.

As respectful/ disrespectful as your comment is, it seems like Sunny Anderson is just not a personality type that you like. You may not understand her personality but, that doesn't mean that she is flawed or ill.

That's a strong judgment to make on someone you have only seen on television. You mentioned that Katie or Alex could never act this way. Does your opinion only pertain to women? Should women not act this way?

Because, Jeff Mauro often displays loud and disruptive behavior. Is he ill as well? Obviously, the execs at Food Network would not continue to keep her on The Kitchen and multiple shows if they felt she were problematic or sick. Apparently, many people like her, as she is one of the more popular co-hosts across Food Network.

This thread is dedicated towards people who don't like her.

But, apparently her popularity across the Food Network speaks volumes. This feed is doing nothing.
